Thanks for the message. I didn't think anyone would ever respond to my post.

Since I put my message on this board I have been able to find some additional info on the Kreischer family. My line is descended from Nicholas Kreischer b. 04 Sep 1825 in Bavaria and his daughter, Christina Kreischer, b. 13 Mar 1861 somewhere on Long Island.

I was able to identify her siblings as: Margaretta b.1854, John, b. 1857, Catherine b. 1859, Rosa b. 1861, Stephen b. 1868, Nicholas b. 1870 and Susan b. 1874.

I have no idea if any of them are connected to the mansion on Staten Island. I haven't been able to find any links to anywhere except Brooklyn and Long Island. I would like to hear what you have found about the family connected to the mansion to see if I can tie it to my clan.
