Hi Gary,

I asked Beverly Jacobsen this same question further up the page, but just in case you don't see that: do you have a date or birth--or at least a year of birth--for your John Krell? Beverly says he was reputedly a stowaway. I'm looking for the missing brother of my great-grandfather Friedrich "Fred" Krell, who was stowed away with his older brother on a ship from Germany. They got separated in New York and never saw each other again. Fred was born February 2, 1844, so his brother would be a bit older.
