Peter KRIER was son of Joseph KRIER (Sep. 1847, Belgium - 1924, Plymouth Co., IA; bu. St. Joseph Cem., Lemars, IA) & Catherine CASPER, b. Feb. 1856, Grant Co., WI, d/o Peter CASPER & M. Catherine MESSERSCHMIDT. There is a great deal of census documentation for the family of Joseph.

Peter KRIER was born 25 / 26 Mar. 1875, Grant Co., WI. In 1900, the census appears to list the surname KRIER as BRIER or CRICE. Peter's wife was Pauline M., b. 22 Aug. 1877, Iowa. Children were Marie, b. 2 Jan. 1898, & Clarence, b. Dec. 1899.

You can find both Clarence and Martin on the Social Security Death Index.

In 1930, Peter KRIER & family are of Lincoln Co., MN. Peter KRIER, b. ca. 1877; Pauline M., 1878; Bernice E., 1914; Martin P., 1917. Clarence & family are also in Lincoln Co., MN.

Google shows the obituary of (Franz) Peter CASPER (8 July 1829, Ediger, Prussia - 4 Sep. 1913, Hinton, Plymouth, IA) m. 15 or 24 July 1853, Dubuque, IA, (Mary) Catherine MESSERSCHMIDT, who d. 9 Aug. 1904, both bu. Trinity Lutheran, near Hinton, Lincoln Twp., Plymouth Co., IA. F. Peter was son of Peter Joseph CASPARI & Anna Clara BARTEN.

Good Luck!
