In the German language, "krise" means crisis. You will probably see Greise, Kreis, Kreise and probably more spellings of the name. I guess there is no telling really what the "original" spelling was. If you do a search under just the "krise" on the net, you get a multitude of hits on German language sites, talking about the Kosovo krise, etc. That move wasn't very productive!! :-)
