I'm interested in the William Andrew Krise you mentioned. I have one b. ABT. 1800, in MD., m. Mary Humbert or Humbolt, b. PA. His son, the only one we know of was, William Henry Krise, b. 7/2/1822, Dayton, OH. d. 5/13/1920, Shelton, WA. It could be that William Henry's fathers name wasn't really his name and was assumed to be William Andrew. Names of William Henry's children are: George W. b. 1865, William Henry, b. 1867 Henry, b. 1870, Charles, b. 1872, Edward, b. 1874, John C., b.1886, Andrew, b. 1879, Mike, b.1883, Ralph, b.1888 Frank, b. 1890, and daughters names are, Nellie, b. 1882, Annie, b. 1876, Jennie, b. 1900, d. 1900, Katherine and Pearl were stillbirths.
I have found the name George W. Krise several times, listed in info on the net. John and David are other common names in this family. William Henry came west from IN. with the John Lane immigrant train on 2/14/1850. Arrived in Oregon Terr. 8/12/1853 with the Issac Stevens wagon train.
Any info would be greatly appreiciated.
