Yes, Petra, there are Krismer's in the US! Because you have already communicated with Al Krismer, he has probably already told you about Gordon Krismer, who lives in Canada, and who has done quite alot of Krismer geneology.Although I have not met Al nor Gordon, I have learned that Gordon's great grandfather and my ggf were brothers.They came to the US, along with their parents and siblings, when they were very young men.They came from Fiss, Austria, and settled in LaCrosse, Wiscounsin.I believe there are many Krismer's in that area, and in Minnesota
I, however, live in Oklahoma, where my parents met and married, when my dad was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, during WWII
I will need to find Gordon Krismer's email address and will gladly give it to, if you wish to contact him.I would love to know anything you could tell us about the part of the family that remains in Austra!Best wishes! Bobbi
