I,too, have been researching Philip Kroeger(Kraeger) and Franciska Denge Reifer. I discovered in the research from another ancestor of mine that Franciska Reifer was a widow when she married Philip. She had a daughter by the name of Louise Wilhelmina Reifer and married John Bernholz. These are my great-great grandparents on my father's father side. Philip Kraeger and Franciska Reifer had 4 more children. Their first born - Elizabeth - married a Mattis Hoffert and they became my great great grandparents on my father's mother side. Talk about a small world. They are all buried up here in northern New York in cemetaries not far from where I live. I have seen Philip grave on Mohawk Hill, Lewis County, New York. I am very interested in learning more about Philip and Franciska. Please provide any information you can regarding them. I will also try to answer any questions you may have. Thank you.

Cheryl
