Hello Gerald. There was a John Kroeger born about 1874 to a Joseph Kroeger in Marion township (allen county) Ohio. Joseph's other children were Henry, Mary, Agnes, Rosa, William, Josephina, Caroline, and Ottilia.

My family came from this area but I could never find any connection to Joseph. I also could never find any of his family. I suspect they moved out of the area. Possibly to Akron.
