My Kroegers settled mostly in Dodge County, in and around Hooper, Scribner etc. I'm not sure how close or far Schuyler is from there (I don't have my Nebraska map handy right at the moment) but it's certainly possible that there is a connection. In my family tree, the Kroeger who came to the US (in 1867) was Johann Joachim Christian Kroeger (born 1811) with pretty much all his family. Please e-mail me at judyellis@earthlink.net and let's compare notes!
