Please see my message on this forum dated 3/25/01. I live in Dayton, Ohio and my Unterbrink/Kroger line goes back to Glandorf Germany. Their son married a Mirlenbrink and they settled in Glandorf (yes, Glandorf), Ohio which is about 40 miles north of Lima, Ohio. Maybe there is a connection to your Kroegers (Krogers) there somewhere. Given that the Kroger grocery chain was founded by a Kroger from Cincinnati, maybe the Krogers liked western Ohio?????
