I noted a reference to Glandorf, Ohio and Kroegers. a lot of Kroegers hail from that area, the area around Lima, Ohio. My relatives come from Landeck, outside of Delphos, Ohio. They were once Kroger's when in the old country. They emigrated from A small town named Ostercappeln, Hanover, Germany. My ancestor is Henry Kroger, with a lot of Henry's, and Johann's, and Gerd's in the family tree. They arrived in Cincinnati and some could've stopped off in Dayton instead of heading for Delphos. If any of this strikes a note, drop a line.
