Peter Kroft

Peter Kroft came from Le Havre, France on a ship and arrived in New York on 15th of December. He supposedly came from Alsace-Lorraine. The some census show his birth place as Germany and some France. His son in 1920 listed his father's place of birth as Alsace-Lorraine. One census said Sachsen (Saxony). In America he went by Peter Croft. His death is recorded under Kroft. I am trying to find what town he came from in France/Germany/Alsace-Loraine and also he became a citizen here in America in 1867 in Ohio. I have been unable to find the final naturalization papers.

Any help is appreciated.

Jacque Wallingford
