Hi Sherry, Am anxious to here of your Krohns, ie; when they came over? What you know? I have just this evening sent for a document concerning, I believe, my Uncle Emil Krohn who I had been told had served in the Spanish American War. I found the reference on in there Minnesota Volunteers in the Spanish American War and the Phillippine Insurrection. There was also a William Krohn listed from Illinois! Could it be your William?

Since making my first post I have found out that Peter and Christina had at least three children when they came to the US. Emil is said to have been an infant, but I do not know if he was born in Sweden, on the boat or in the US.

Hope to hear form you soon!
Sharon Tate
