Hi Lorie,

Well to be honest, I don't know where I got that death date for Joh Hurlbert, Jr. I just dug out the headstone listing I made when I walked Cedar Lake cemetery and he is definitely not on it. That 1917 date is a mistake. There is a Hurlbert buried there but his name is James(possibly a brother since he married Nora's sister, Mary Agnes). The Hurlbert's lived over in the Mississippi City area and most of them are buried in the old Hansboro cemetery. Do you know where he or Nora are buried?
Sorry for the mistake.
Tracy
