Hi, Amanda. My grandfather, probably born in Wisconsin in 1882, was Andrew Axel Croon, supposedly anglicized from Krohn when his father, Andrew A. Krohn, came to the US from Sweden. These are unconfirmed stories at this point, but I'm working on confirming them. Maybe someday!

Supposedly my g-grandmother was Hannah. I have located a Hannah Krohn, 18 years old, born in Prussia, on the 1860 Wisconsin census, living in Columbia County, Hampden WI. There was also a Henry Krohn there, married to Margareta who was born in Prussia. They had a son Henry, 12 years old, and daughter Margareta, 10.

Hope this is of some interest.
