I hope this helps a bit. I got this from papers my family wrote over the years:

"Gilbert Krohn, b 10/1864 Huron Co, Blain
d 9/7/1918 fell off scaffold at Morton Salt and crushed his scull, farmer & carpenter.
Married 11/24/1891 Margaret Smith b 8/16/1873-4/23/1956"

and

"Heinrich Krohn, born in Schweron Germany 1831? Migrated to Waterloo Co. Ont betw 1851-1855 and 10 yrs later to Huron Co.
Married Dorothea Jacobs July 11, 1855
b 1824? in Schwerin Germany, died Jully 2, 1904
Bought land in 1885 from state known as swampland
Cistern maker and farmer
died after wife"

Gilbert is my gg grandfather and Heinrich (English version is Henry) is my ggg grandfather. I know Gilbert is buried in Lakeside Cemetery in Port Huron (Sec H lot 645). I don't have anything on Heinrich's death...yet, anyway. I'm still looking.
I hope this helps!
Jane
