Krone - York County PA

Hello, Krones!
From what I know, my Krone's come from Germany. But I don't know where, when or, who. (What else is new?)

I am starting my Krone search. Looking for info on Krones in Maytown, York County, PA in the 1800's and at the turn of the century. John W. Krone m. Matilda Ashenfelter. (Marriage date unknown.) They had 12 children. One of which was Granville B. Krone (aka "Bid") who married Myrtle Willis. (Marriage date unknown.) They had 5 children -- Margaret Viola, Grace Marie, Bertha May (b 1902), Willis Melvin (b.1911 d. 1991), and Charles William (b. 1913).

Granville Krone was one of 12 (?) siblings. I am looking for info on these siblings and their ancestors. My great-aunt Bertha May Krone is still living. She believes that Granville's great-grandfather was named Elijah.

A quick rundown of my ancestry as it is told to me:
1.Elijah KRONE
...2.? KRONE
......3.John W. KRONE
......+ Matilda Ashenfelter (12 children)
..........4.Granville B. KRONE
..........+ Myrtle Willis (5 children)
.............5.Margaret Viola KRONE
............. +Charles Mosey (1st)
............. +Ralph Brunell (2nd)
.............5.Grace Marie KRONE (3 children)
............. +William Anderson
.............5.Bertha May KRONE(b.1902)
............. +Charles Keiter
.............5.Willis Melvin KRONE(b.1911)
..............+Thelma
.............5.Charles William KRONE(b.1913)
..............+Sarah Blessley (1 child)
..................6.Sally Ann KRONE(b.1937)
...................+J.Ira Laird, Jr.
........................7.J.Ira LAIRD,III
.........................+Tammy Jo Crossley
(This is me!).....7.Jennifer Lynn LAIRD
.........................+Michael T. Burke

I would like to get more dates and locations. I know that Granville and his family lived in Maytown, York County, PA, but his parents may have been from somewhere else (probably still in Central PA).

Obviously, any info would be a help. I am planning an interview with my grandfather Charles and my great-aunt Bertha soon. If there are any questions you would like me to ask, let me know.

Jennifer L. Burke
