Franz "Frank" Krone, b. 1829 in Wehdem Parrish, Minden-Luebbecke, to So. IL

I'm looking for help locating birth records and ancestors for my 4x great grandfather Franz Heinrich Wilhelm "Frank" Krone. He was born within about a day either way of 24 Sep 1829, supposedly in Oppendorf in the Wehdem Ev. Kirchengemeinde (Parish) within the district of Minden-Luebbecke in modern-day Nordrhein-Westfalen. He immigrated to Washington County, IL I guess sometime in the 1870s or thereabouts. According to his death certificate (1911), his father was Georg Krone and his mother's maiden name was Schnake or Schrake (couldn't tell). I know there are Schnakes in that area, so I assume that's what it says. However, I can't seem to find any matching marriages or births in Wehdem records.

Any help would be much appreciated.
