I am a son of Harry Emerson Krone 1885-1978(Mary Emma Stein) who was born and raised in the Maytown area of Penn. He is the son of Bartlet Krone 1863-1936(Sarah Boring)--grandson of Elijah Krone 1834-1918(Annie Powell)--gg son of Philip Krone (Crone)1802- ?(Mary Slagle)-- etc. up through Michael Krone(Crone) 1771-1843 (Sophia Frankengerger)--Simon Kron--1735(Anna Catherine Gohn)- and Johanns Kron 1722(Appelonia ?)
In his retirement years my father did a lot of research on Krone genealogy and developed a chart from which I got the above information. I have extended the chart to the current generation and written a journal abouth the Krone history beginning with their emigration from the Palatinate area of Germany in the early 1700s and settling in the York County area.
