Anthony Krug b Baden, Germany married Thursa/Thurza/Turessa ??? b 1804 Baden, Germany (?) d 10-14-1881, Henry County, MO. Two children from this marriage : Francis Xavier Krug/ Crooks (Spelling changed after they came to America.) b ?? d 12-18-1874. Francis had one son-Harve b 3-10-1869 d 11-1-1950. Children of Harve: Harry b 4-30-1891 d 11-21-1930. Raymond b 8-4-1893 d 2003, Noel b 10-10-1896 d 2-29-1908, Anna May B 9-?-1909. The second child of Anthony and Thurza Krug/Crooks was Ferdinand Winslow Krug/Crooks b 4-2-1836 in Baden Germany d 4-17-1922 in Clinton, Henry County Mo. Ferdinand m 1) Sarah Jane Hall. There was one chld from this marriage, Francis Marion b July, 1862 in Indiana. The family knew Francis was living in California at the time of Ferdinand's death, but lost track of him. Ferdinand m 2) Mary Louise Descombes. Children of Ferdinand and Mary Louise were Charles L. b 5-11-1874 d 6-27-1947, George F. 12-12-1875 d 1-15-1954, Della A. b 10-1-1878 d 3-28-1966, Dola b 9-25-1880 d 7-8-1985, Alfred 7-22-1877 (stillborn).

Family information is that Anthony and Thurza had three children and one of them got separated from the family when they arrived in the United States and was never found.

A 3rd cousin of Ferdinand Winslow Crooks, Jacob Wolff b 10-10-1836 in Melsheim, France, d 4-27-1920 in Clinton, Henry County, MO, may have lived with Ferdinand and his family after coming to the U.S. in 1854. Jacob had one sister who remained in France. Jacob discontinued correspondence wit her when she married a German army officer named Leonhardt.
