Krug- New Jersey, New York

Hi, I am researching whom I believe to be a Harold Krug. I believe he was born about 1913 in New Jersey. I was told he was adopted as a German orphan and his name was changed to Harold Scribner. In the 1930 census, Harold Scribner is listed as being adopted, and in the 1920 census his "parents" are listed as being born in New York. I am assuming these are his biological parents since his adoptive parents are listed as being born in New Jersey. Does anyone have any information on this Harold Krug? Any help would be great. Thank you. Stacy
