Searching for Cyrus Crull b. 8-26-1854. Married Anna Charlotte Isakson and had one daughter, Effie Matilda Crull. He left Anna and Effie when Effie was young. He returned to Effie's home in Nebraska when she was an adult. She cared for him until his death.
It was suspected that when he left Anna and Effie, he also left the state.

Cyrus's father was Jacob Crull, (or Krull). B. 1821. He may have been known as "Black Jake". Stories are that he served under President Lincoln, but have no idea of the truth or actions of this rumor.

Would appreciate any information as I've been stuck.
