Thanks a lot, Alex - this certainly helps and I will try to use the sources you mentioned for my further research. The first Krüll's I know of originated in Düsseldorf, and some of us then re(?)- migrated to Bavaria. None of my ancestors sofar came from the area of Löningen, so I cannot be of any help, unfortunately.
