I have an ancestor, Magdelena Krum, who married William Arner, prior to 1795 when my great grandfather Henry Arner was born. William and Magdelena Krum lived in West Penn Twp., Carbn County. Magdelena's father was Johannes Krum, b. 14 April, 1734. His father was Paulus Crumm, b.1886. these peple were all brn in Marienberg, Hessenassau, Germany. It looks like Paulus Krum's (Crumm) father may be Johann Jacob Krum, b. 1664, Marienberg. Still further, his father is likely johann Jacob Krumm, b. 1643, Marienberg Germany. The wife of Paulus was Anna Maria Lupp. the closest reference to her parentage is a Johann Jacob Lupp, b. 1671, Marienberg Hessenassau, Germany m. Anna Maria Declerck. As of yet there is NO direct tie from Anna Maria Lupp to Johann Jacob Lupp and Anna Maria Declerck. The lineage on this line runs bace to 1584 in the same town. With the 2 first names repeated in Anna Maria, whose son was Johann Jacob Krum in the same town of Marienberg for 2 centuries the liklihood is very strong that this is the line though not certain. The Krum family of Pa. first located in Lehigh County I believe and suceeding generations moved to Carbon and on. Please contact me for more information
