I have no idea whether or not this will help you, but while researching my Schmit/Smith line, I came across a Christian Krum who was the husband of Christina Schmit/Smith. Christina was the daughter of Christian and Catharina (Catherine) Schmit who lived in Heidelberg Township, Northampton County(now in Lehigh County), Pennsylvania in the 1700s. They were Lutherans, members of the Heidelberg Lutheran Church, which shared the Heidelberg Union Church with the Evangelical Reformed Church of Heidelberg. The first generation of Heidelberg residents were Palatines from the Pfalz, now in Germany. They came to the Port of Philadelphia in the 1730's and perhaps the early 1740's and moved to the northern wilderness of Pennsylvania where they could obtain land grants. Millard
