I am descended from John William Sievers b 2 jun 1859 s/o John Bernard Sieves b 1817 Meppen Germany. Son of John William was John Bernard Siefers/Sievers who was born in Illinois but came to Great Bend and died there. He was my gggrandfather. I'm looking for any information on the Illinois Sievers side. The name was changed in Kansas to Siefers. I only have an old picture of the Illinois Sievers who lived in Calhoun county and don't know who they are. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks!!
