Newspaper clipping from Grandma's scrapbook: April 30, 1934 "FRAILEY - MILLER. Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Frailey, former residents of Fort Scott, now living in Hepler, Kas., announce the marriage of their daughter, Geraldine, to Mr. Cyrus H. Miller, son of J.L. Miller of Clinton, Mo., on October 21, 1933, at the Christian church parsonage in Nevada, Mo., the Rev. Huell Warren officiating. The only attendants were Mrs. Taylor Pointer, sister of the bride, and Taylor Pointer of Appleton City, Mo. The wedding had long been anticipated by friends but had not been announced except to immediate families and a few friends. The bride wore a dress of brown triple sheer crepe with accessories to match. Mrs. Miller taught school for several years and for the past year served as bookkeper in the Hepler State Bank. She attended the Fort Scott junior college and Kansas State Teachers college at Pittsburg. Mr. Miller also taught school, having a degree from the Springfield Teachers college, Springfield, Mo. The couple will make their home in Humansville, Mo., where Mr. Miller owns and operates a bakery." Notify Administrator about this message?
