After Milton's death Ida married John C. Duncan 29 Aug., 1905 in Oberlin, Decatur Co., KS
John C. Duncan b. 09 Feb., 1847 d. 15 Sept., 1935 KS
John's first wife was Elizabeth McLaren. He was the last Civil War veteren in Norcatur,KS.
I am related through Milton's brother L. C. Gore ( Lucas Clinton Gore, Sr. b. 1841 Larue Co., KY).
Lucas Clinton Gore, Jr. b. 11 Nov., 1872 Falls City, Richardson Co., NE d. 06 Oct., 1934 Warrensburg, Johnson Co., MO.
He married Ida F. Shackelford 26 Dec., 1897 Johnson Co., MO. Ida had previously married Walter Lee Newton; they were divorced. Ida was a daughter of Benjamin Franklin Shackelford ( my gg grandfathers brother ) and Mary Frances Mullinex.
Milton H. Gore served during the Civil War in Kentucky:
Co. K 37th Inf as a private.
