Hello, I think the McLains were in the Richland township area of Harvey county. We had a small village called McLain
there is still a CO-OP and about four homes there. I would have to do more reading, But I think George was connected with a bank in the area. I have been working on this area to gather family histories of the early settlers. I know the McLain name appears quite often in the old newspapers.
