I am seeking info on the Gilchrist children born on the family farm east of Walton KS in the 1870s-80s. The children are Beulah (my grandmother), Harriet, Gertrude, Gold, Laura, and James. Their father Andrew Bryson Gilchrist was born on 10-03-1848 at Uniontown, PA and died at Walton, KS on 08-06-1919, and their mother Mary Catherine Dunn was born on 11-27-1849 at Flatwood, PA and died at Walton, KS on 12-16-1939; married on 12-18-1873.
A reunion will be held for descendants of these Gilchrists in Lawrence KS on Sept. 14-15, 2002. Please contact me for information.
