Thank you!! Yes you found the right Wiliam Morris--his full name is John william Morris and most census and his obit gives his birth year as 1860. After he left Kansas he went to Oklahoma where I finally found his death and burial location. Still looking on some of his children.
I do believe you have the right Ida Morris--she was my brick wall--and what you found is all that I have on her. Guess she did not marry.
There was also another son of John and Sarah I can find nothing on--Isaac born around 1869 in Ohio. He is listed with them in the 1870 census of Ohio, but not in the 1880 of Kansas. Assume he died, but don't know where.
Would you consider doing a few lookups for me from Reno County?
