Lewis and Lackey families

Perhaps you could help me. In the 1970 US Census it shows a James Lackey living in Atchison, Kansas. He has considerable realestate in Atchison at that time valued at $5000. He has a family living with him. They are the Charles Lewis family which is my great grandfather. I am trying to learn more of this James Lackey. What I expect is that he came from the east coast and had a sister named Eleanor and Eleanor married William Lewis in New York. That would make James Lackey the uncle of Charles Lewis. There are, of course, other possibilities. Any help would be appreciated.
