In 1930, Freda is living with her sister and her husband, suggesting that the parents are deceased, especially since I am unable to find them in the census:

There was a 1905 state census done for Kansas, and finding him in it should give you his first wife's name. So far, I have been unable to find him in the 1900 federal census.
