I was looking for a Bruce female who might have been the first wife of Jesse Jackson Kirkpatrick, but just yesterday found that Sarah T. Bruce married John S. Kirkpatrick. I believe the 2 Kirkpatricks were 2nd cousins. John's parent was Augustus Browning Kirkpatrick and Jesse's was John and Sarah Lane Kirkpatrick.

Only descendants I have are from Jesse on down to my greatgrandmother Martha "Mattie" Kirkpatrick.
