I am not sure if my COFFMAN's are related to your WOOSTERs, however Elias Strickler Coffman & Jennette Coffman lived in Mitchell county & it was not uncommon in the family to give the children the mother's maiden name, as their middle name. So Strickler for example is the maiden name of Elias' mother. I know that Elias J Coffman, born 1840 along with his wife, Carry, lived on the family farm with his widowed mother, Jennetta in 1870 in Grasshopper Falls, Mitchell Co., Kansas. Could this be a relation?
