Thank you for your helpful message. Charles Coffman Wooster was a lawyer in Cincinnati,Ohio in business with his uncle Judge Charles Coffman when he joined the Union Army in 1861. I do not know if Judge Charles Coffman was a great uncle. I have not been able to link him to the Coffmans or to his supposed grandfather Dr. Wright Wooster, a noted medical writer. Charles Coffman Wooster was married to Nannie Cullum and their life in Mitchell County is well documented. Someday, someone will find the information in Ohio that links him to the Woosters of the East Coast and beyond. Best wishes to you, Ms. David.
