Looking for inofrmation on James Pembroke Ball who was born in Illinois in 1836. He was a Civil War Veteran and lived in Rice County at the time of the 1880 Census. He is listed with his wife Emma and four children. I would like to find out more about him, for a book on Henderson's Scouts, a cavalry unit the fought for General Nathan Bedford Forrest.
