Looking for help. Per the 1880 US Census, C.B. Parkes was listed, with his wife, Lucy and son Francis. They were living in Stockton at the time of the Census. Someone on the LDS site, has Charles Parks, wife Lucy Powers, being married in Mitchell, Kansas on July 25, 1879. C.. B. Parkes/Charles Parks was born in Canada, wife in Illinois. This is possibly a relative that we have been searching for. We tried writing to Rice Co. Kansas to get a marriage certificate, but the said even though they were married there, they may have gotten it somewhere else. Would love to be able to get the marriage certificate and also find someone who is related to these individuals to help us fill in some missing blanks. Any and all assistance is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance.
