The spelling Kicsura appears on my wife's mother's birth certificate. The Hungarian cs is pronounced ch as in children. See also the posting by Mike Nemeth-Rootsweb --Fri.,June l8.l999-General Hungary Query Forum in response to Kucera, Kuchera or Kucsera, posted by Carol Ann June l4, l999. In searching through Hungarian Roman Catholic Church parish records--Nograd, Ettes-1787-l829-we found these variations, which we suspect are the Latinized form of Kicsura or Kucsera: Kutsera, Kutsora, Kussora. Hope this info is helpful.
