Since posting the original message, I have learned a little additional information on this family.

Vaclav Kucera was born 1820 in Brozany, Litomerice, Czechoslovakia. He was a message runner in the Prussian army and eventually came to Wisconsin in 1858. In 1874, the family moved to Republic Co., KS. He died in 1885 and is buried in Tabor Cemetery, Cuba, KS.

His wife was Elizabeth Horky, also of Brozany. She was born in 1825 and died 14 April 1898. She is also buried in Tabor Cemetery.

Any additional information on this family and their ancestry would be appreciated.
