Hi Roberta:
My name is Linda MANAK Rippen and I am originally from around the San Antonio, Texas area; however, I now live in California. I have just started doing some research on my SLOVACEK lineage and found that Tomas Slovacek, my g-grandfather, born 06 November, 1852 in Chrastesove, Moravia, married approximately 1881,a MARIE KUCERA. born about June 1862 in Moravia. They immigrated to the United States around 1886 when my grandmother, Cecilia, was about 2 yrs old. They were living in Austin County, Texas according to the 1900 Census. They are buried in the Ocker Brethren Church Cemetery in Bell County, Texas. I have no further information on Marie at this time. Are any of these names familar to you?

Appreciate any help you may have
