I know very little about my family's history since my grandfather passed away when my father was only 2 and that was in 1953(?). I know that he elected to drop the "r" from the last name to make it easier to pronounce (people still butcher it badly). He lived and worked in Salem, Oregon and I believe that some of his family was in Portland and some were down in Lakeview Oregon as well. Anyone that has any more of the puzzle would be a great help. My grandfather married Eva Zellner in the 1930's (I think), she is still living but her memory is failing her and so it is not that easy to find out much of my past on my fathers side of the family. Thank you.
