Help Solve a Mystery! Edward Kudrna in Texas...

Long story short...my grandfather was adopted and we are trying to find his birth family. I found a baptismal record that matches the dates he remembers in Colorado County, Texas, of an Edward Kudrna. He's pretty sure his first name stayed the same after the adoption (he's now Ed P. Billeck). He's between 102-103 years old and we'd like this solved before he dies, of course!

The baptismal record stated: Edward Kudrna, born November 15, 1899, baptized March 29, 1900. Mother - Aloysia Kurdna. Sponsors: Anton and Maria Silva.

If anyone has any information regarding this record or family, could you please e-mail me? I'm going to try to get to the adoption records in Colorado County, Texas using this name (hopefully it's correct!). We believe Grandpa's birth sister was adopted into his adoptive mother's sister's family at the same time and she was possibly three years older than him.

Thank you so very much!

Lorie Billeck Mitchell, Carlsbad, New Mexico
