Searching for descendants of Charles(Karl, Carl), spelling may have been changed when they immigrated, and Catharine Kuehne. Immigrated to this country from Germany in 1873 settled in Illinois first in Chicago and then in Joliet. Charles owned a meat market in Joliet until his death. There children were Martha b. 1874 Illinois d. before 1910, Martha was a clerk at the meat market until her death, Clara b. 1878, married Unknown Schoop daughter Henrietta b. 1904 shown living with Charles and Catharine in the 1910 and 1920 census for Will County, Joliet, Illinois. Albert b. 1882 d. 1970, Carl b. 4/1884 Hugo b. @ 1886 married Susan Unknown two children Gretchen b. 1914 and Kenneth b. 1920 Illinois. Sophia b. 1889 d. 1973 Illinois Sophia was a school teacher with the Chicago Public Schools until she retired. Rose b. 8/1892 Illinois d. 1954 Washington D.C. married Tillie Pepper before 1918 one child Virginia Pepper b. 8/1918 Joliet Illinois. If any of these names ring a bell Please contact me
