Adam & Priscilla Wheeler Kuhn (1860's)

Recently, I purchased an old antique oval frame. Inside the frame was the image of a young woman, photographed by J.S. Young of Washington, PA.
When I removed the image from the frame (I had bought it to use for an old family photo), I noticed that it had a 5-cent Revenue Tax Stamp, which authenticates it from the era August 1864-August 1866. It also had a yellowed note taped to the back of the frame which read: "Elizabeth Priscilla Kuhn, daughter of Adam and Priscilla Wheeler Kuhn."
This is a very nice print. It appears to be a salt print. It is large (6.5 inches in width; 8.5 inches in height- which probably explains why the Revenue Tax Stamp was so high for this image)(cheaper prints had 2 and 3-cent Revenue Tax Stamps affixed to their backs) and is in Very Good Condition from being enclosed under glass in the oval frame.
Make an offer that I can't refuse and its yours if you want it.
Thank you,
Bonnie
