After perusing some of the messges posted in the genealogy forum it would appear that The World Book of Kühns is not very accurate, as it seems a large number of people have not been included. It is obvious that only those listed in the telephone books in the various coutries were approached.
I find it rather strange, though, as I am resident in South Africa and during the compilation of this book, I think it was in the early nineties, I was approached in writing by the publishers to confirm my details, etc. I was also verbally approached by others with the same name to confirm the details and discussed the matter. On the strength of that I think the Kühns in SA is pretty well covered in the book.
