Hello;
My Kuhnel people came from Bischofteinitz, Bohemia, Czech Republic. Back in 1880 it was part of Austria. Today the town is called Horsovsky Tyn. It is about 25 miles from Plzen (Pilsen). Elizabeth and her sister Rose booked passage to Baltimore about 1880. They met up with their two brothers Joseph and Charles in Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio. Later the girls moved to Syracuse, NY. Elizabeth married Erhardt Dominicus Kraus.

Parents: Joseph Kuhnel born 1812 and Dorothera Gulden born 1824. In Bischofteinitz He was a Horse Breeder, Veterinarian, Innkeeper, and farmer. He owned twohundred acres. They had 16 children. They were catholic.

All Comments and questions welcome.

Carl
