Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Candice: We have something in common. I know that my father-in-law dropped the Z from his name when he came to the United States. I believe he was born near the Russian Border in the late 1890's. Became a citizen around 1902. Was married in 1911 and died in 1952. I'm having a hard time trying to trace him and would appreciate any help you could pass on. His first name was Charles (Casmir).
