I am lookin for ancestors of John Michael Kull b. Nov. 15, 1814 in Wurtenburg Germany He married Margaret Ann Runkle B. July 14, 1825 in Gralsheim, Hesse-Daimstadt, Germany, He die in 1881 in Wisconsin. I don't have information further back than that on this line. Family tradition has it that we are descendents of Nicholas Kullin who was supervisor of the salt mines in Stuttgart. When my daughter and son-in-law lived in Stuttgart for a year we went to the city archives and did see the evidence that this person was an actual person who was born in Austria but lived in Stuttgart and was knighted for his work. But ther is a big gap between Sir Ncholas and John Michael. Can anyone help fill in the blanks?
Thanks in advance.
Lurline McQuillin
