In my previous message, I mentioned "Luck", Poland. It is also known as Lutzk, Poland. Lutzk is point of origin for the "Wandering Volhynians" - http://www.tcm.com/kull/wv.htm.

And, it is Julius Janke and "Christina"-Kull Janke (NOT Emma). Their son, Bert, played in the NHL for one season when he lost an eye. He was also Captain of Memorial Cup winning St. Boniface Seals in 1938! http://slam.canoe.ca/CHLMemorialCup03/winners.html
